Rainy Sunday.

January 18th, 2010

Rainy Sunday.

It started as a cloudy day. No sunlight, no mood to paint (another excuse.) So I sat down with my laptop on my lap (where it designed to sit) and started doodling again while watching Nadal and Feder on Australian Open and painted this painting on ArtRage 3.

It felt great that even I started out with an excuse, I still managed to tapped into my youth and create something without expectation. Well, it turned out to be colorful, effortless and fun, and am not feeling bored doing so either. I like being a child again!

Daily Journal

Daily Journal

I've been hit by winter blues and wasn't able to create anything for a couple of weeks. Then I realize I need to start somewhere.

I tapped into my childhood and start doodling and it happened to be joyful as it always did. So I planned to write, draw, paint, paste, glue, cut, nip, smear, etc into whatever close at hand. I started by a quote of the day, a thought of the day or something anything that inspires me.

I might paint on either fabric, digital screen, paper, wood, cardboard, boxes, canvas, etc. I planned to put my thoughts of the day into this blog everyday (if possible) at least it will keep me on the roll.

These works are created in one session, in a single spontaneous burst of energy or idea. No reworks on them for my goal is to finish it in one session.

It will serves as my journal and sketch book in a digital scale (on the Internet, that is).
